In this week's episode of the New Flesh Podcast, Ricky and Jon interview Peter Ridd. Peter is an environmentalist and a former Professor and Head of Physics at James Cook University in Townsville. He has published more than 100 papers in international science journals and supervised many successful PhD students. Peter's dissenting view on the health of the Great Barrier Reef got him fired from James Cook University, and resulted in a high profile court case fought on the grounds of academic freedom.
